I, Alex Shalman am pleased to announce the grand opening of Alex Shalman . com – Practical Personal Development. Although the release has merely been a one month goal, the essence of what this site is to offer is a culmination of years of personal development and a strong desire to deliver value to you, my readers. The process of creating this site has been exciting, frustrating at times, but overall very rewarding.

The Making: an outline of what it took to make this site

Hosting – my host is 1and1, which have been reliable and very competitively priced.
Software – for all my coding/editing I stuck with Macromedia Dreamweaver.
Engine – the meat behind the blog is the Wordpress blogging utility.
