Sunday’s Speedlinking 11-04-07

At Alex Shalman . com - Practical Personal Development the Sunday morning tradition is me posting links, to my favorite articles for the week, from OTHER blogs. I feel like this is a good way to bring attention to quality writing that my readers might not get a chance to see otherwise.
For this week my favorite articles are:
Todd Goldfarb at We The Change thinks that “We have to get our heads around the fact that being positive is actually far more realistic than being negative.” I couldn’t agree with him more. Read about his 7 Effective Ways To Implement Positive Thinking.
Elliot Katz over at Aish.com writes about the 5 Things a Man Needs to Do in a Successful Relationship. I’m all about figuring out how things work, especially relationships with other people. I was actually blown away reading this article, because I feel like Elliot captured the fundamentals.
Tina Su from Think Simple Now, wrote about The Secret to Self Loving.
Tina says: “Most of my life, being alone was one of my biggest fears. I found myself in numerous relationships for the wrong reasons and ended up settling in ill-fitting ‘partnerships’. This deeply rooted fear and lack of understanding of myself caused the relationships to become my whole world; my focus of attention; my center. I would sacrifice my own goals for the other person. And, when the relationship collapsed, so did my sense of self. “
Alright, how many of us could related to this, at some point in our life? Through an ingenious process of self-dates Tina has outgrown this phase, became more independent, and attracted better relationships into here life.
