
The beautiful thing about life is that we can find inspiration absolutely anywhere. In a person, from a book, under a rock, and yes, even from a yogurt! Not only are Dannon offering a product that’s full of Lactobacillus Acidophilus, which means good for digestion, but they’re also offering some great personal development advice.
While Dannon’s version of these 7 things has more to do with Calcium and stuff, let’s take a second look at the 7 points Alex Shalman Style, shall we?
- Be Fit. Do what you can to keep your body, the only body you’re going to get, in tip top shape. The recommended weekly minimum is going for a brisk walk 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time or jogging 3 times at 20 minutes. I think this minimum is a joke, and that everyone can do it, yet a high percentage of American’s do not even get this much work out. I say we all do more than the minimum, who’s with me?
- Be Vital. Bring aliveness to whatever you do in life. Show up ready to vibrate at a high frequency, to be the center of good energy, and to make those around you feel good as well. Many people try to get by in life, without being noticed, without getting hurt. They try to risk as little as possible by not talking out or not going out of there way to make a friend, but this is costing them everything that’s important. Let’s all bring our 100% to the table, shall we?
- Be Comfortable. Sometimes it’s quite alright to treat yourself and enjoy all the pleasures that there are in life. We’ve been put on this earth to experience as many pleasures as possible. It’s not always necessary to hold back, restrict yourself, and to put things off for a better day. Enjoy life now, ok?
- Be Strong. Don’t get bogged down by bad news, but keep looking at the bright side. If you’re being a passive observer of life, it’s going to turn out the way it turns out, so you might as well look at it as an optimist, because you and the people you’re communicating with will feel better. Let’s not jump to too many conclusions, or let things get to us. Sounds good?
- Be Nourished. Feed your body with balanced nutritious meals and plenty of water. Feed your mind with good conversation and good books. Feed your soul with good friends and the experience of gratitude for everything that exists in your life.
- Be Proactive. Don’t let life happen to you. Take control and happen to life. Instead of admiring how other people are doing great things, go out there and make great things happen yourself.
- Be Happy. We’ve talked about this one a lot in the [1] Happiness Project. Simply put if we’re going to be here, alive, running around, than why not be happy doing it? I can’t think of any situations where being unhappy is better than being happy, yet people often walk around not giving happiness their 100%.

- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- half cup blueberries
