5 Magic Steps To Get Crystal Clear About The Law of Attraction
WARNING: Reading this post will open the door to endless possibilities. It contains a proven step-by-step system on how to turn your thoughts into money or anything else. But first, let’s watch a clip from Will Smith, one of the best actors in the world:
Is it just me or was he having some trouble trying to express himself? If you’ve watched “The Secret”, you’ll remember this quote:
“What this power is, I cannot say. All I know is that it exists.”
-Alexander Graham Bell
Something tells me that Will Smith is going to agree with that. Considering his accomplishments as a person, you and I both know that he was trying to describe the Law of Attraction.
Would you believe me if I told you that even in his haphazard way, Will Smith actually managed to highlight some very important points about the Law of Attraction? Well, he did and what I’m going to do here is to clarify them.
I’m going to make it crystal clear for you so that by the time you finish reading this, you can go out there and manifest your thoughts into whatever you want.
As you read further and further into this post, it will become increasingly clear to you that you have to learn more about the Law of Attraction simply because of its tremendous power.
Recently, my first batch of “The Law of Attraction Coaching Club” members just graduated. Just five minutes ago I got an E-mail from one of them.
“Hey Saif! I had another home sale today and an unexpected pay raise!!!! My sales manager and general manager called me in and gave me this raise and I was so surprised and happy. I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised huh? Thanks for all the great motivation and encouragement!!!”
- Kathy Klinger
I don’t know about you but I think I’ll be jumping up and down like a madman if that happened to me! But then again, like she said it’s not a surprise because that’s what happens when you know how to work the Law of Attraction for you.
Introducing: The 5 Magic Steps
Today, I’m going to reveal to you exactly what I told Kathy and everyone else in the club. The exercises I’m going to reveal to you are easy to do but we both know that they’re easy not to do as well.
If you’re committed to attracting whatever you want, then let’s dig in!
1) Live Your Passion.
I know you’ve heard this countless times so I’m not going to concentrate on this as much as the four other steps. Basically, the Law of Attraction states that you attract whatever you’re in vibrational resonance with.
When I say vibrational resonance, what I’m really saying is the way you feel. Hence, living your passion will constantly put you in a high state of vibration that will attract similar people, events and things into your life.
If you’re still not sure about your passion, I suggest you take the test at Brian Kim’s article that has been featured on CNNBC.com.
2) Set Your Intention.
Most people who fail to see amazing results usually fall at this step. So I’m going to be a bit more elaborate here.
i) Think BIG!
My best results have come from thinking BIG. It seems like the Universe doesn’t reward people who think small. Whatever you desire, make it so big that it excites you but terrifies you at the same time.
STOP! There is a BIG trap here that many people don’t see and I’ve devoted an entire chapter to this which you can download for free by clicking on the image below:

ii) Make Your Vision Clear And Compelling.
You know how people are always asking themselves,”Why am I here?” I think that’s a scary rabbit hole you don’t want to go into.
Instead of trying to find your life purpose, I suggest you invest your time in creating a life vision. You see my friend, a life purpose is noble but a life vision is exciting!
When you get excited about your vision, the work you do is going to be fun and exciting because every action you take is a step towards what you want to be, do or have. And that’s why in the first step, I talked about thinking BIG!
When you think BIG, the possibilities are so exhilarating that you find yourself being sucked into your vision and you don’t have to push yourself to attain it (i.e. laziness, procrastination etc.) and everything that you want will come easily to you.
ii) Devote Your Intention To Something Bigger Than Yourself.
Many people know Jackie Robinson as one of the best athletes the world has ever seen. In my eyes, he stands for something more than that.
Jackie Robinson was faced with countless intolerable insults and assaults during his time at the Brooklyn Dodgers from opposition players and his own team-mates. I think the most inhumane thing that happened was when a team-mate sticked a razor-blade into the inside of his shoes.
Sure enough, it cut his feet open like a knife cutting cheese. However, he still played on and won matches single-handedly with such injuries.
He would go on to end 80 years of baseball segregation a.k.a the color barrier and become one of the best sportsman in history. When asked how he could keep his cool all that while, Jackie said something to the effect of, “I was committing to something BIGGER than myself.”
You see my friend, the greatest men and women in history didn’t do the things they did for personal gain. Their intentions were to devote their lives to their work and GIVE to others. Is it no wonder that these people have the most abundance in their lives?
Give and you shall receive – that is the law. The law of Attraction.
3) Release Counter-intentions.
As you start to take action, the biggest barriers you’ll face are the ones within yourself, not without. These may come in the form of limiting beliefs, procrastination and many others.
Overcoming them is easier than you think! Personally, I use Ho’oponopono where I say,”I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you,” repeatedly until the feelings dissipate. I’ve written extensively on this and you can read about the Ho’oponopono clearing technique here
Other techniques include the Sedona Method and currently the big thing is Emotional Freedom Techniques and i highly recommend you get your own Free EFT Get Started Package there.
4) Visualize Already Having It.
You probably already know that when you visualize something in your mind over and over again, your subconscious mind will take it to be true.
And since your subconscious mind is the “soul” of your mind, what happens is that you’ll find yourself doing things that will ultimately manifest that vision – subconsciously of course.
I use Mind Movies where I string together images of what I want to have, add some affirmations and some kick-ass music and watch it every day when I wake up and just before I go to sleep. You can watch a good example here.
What you have to remember is that this shouldn’t be a chore. It’s supposed to get you excited and put you into a state of vibration that will allow you to attract people, events and things that you need to manifest your intention.
5) Let Go.
“Intention is not simply whim. It requires attention and it also requires detachment. Once you’ve created the intention mindfully, you must be able to detach from the outcome,, and let the universe handle the details of fulfillment.”
-Dr Deepak Chopra
The great thing about the Law of Attraction is that it surprises you all the time. Sometimes, you may be expecting what you want from one source but it comes to you from an unexpected one instead.
In order to experience this, you have to do what most people can’t. And that is to let go and be totally detached about the results. Expect it but don’t be reliant on it because if you do, you’re coming from a place of lack, scarcity and desperation.
As a result you will end up repelling what you want instead of attracting it.
A Final Word
I’m going to be frank with you here. Sometimes, you won’t get what you want even if you follow these steps to the tee. But if you’re open to the fact that your Universe will work out eventually, you’ll get something even better!

One things that I want to manifest, is to be able to have any women in the world, to be the Cassanova or Don Juan or the 21th century. What do you suggest for the visualisation part ?
While I agree attracting opportunities is VERY important, I find that, unfortunately, many people do not know how to deal with those opportunities when they do come their way.
Many people are constantly attracting opportunities, but they don’t see them, they aren’t ready to handle them, or they’re afraid to act on them.
In my opinion, the law of attraction is only a start.

Hey Stanley,
That’s very true! I believe you’re talking about counter-intentions, am i right?
I evoke the power of law of attraction for every part of my life, but you said it’s only a start. What am I missing, Stanley?
Thanks for bringing this up! =)

Hi M!hai,
All you have to do is visualize already having the ability to do that and believe that in every fibre of your being.
A Tip: Plan what you want to visualize by writing it down in the form of a script. It’s too elaborate to explain here but you can get the whole template here.

These are all important steps in living a life of your dreams. Commitment is one of the concepts most people don’t really get. Many of my clients talk about being 90 % committed. That isn’t committed! 100% is!. We must really live breathe and be the life we want to live. When we are already living it, in our hearts, then it will manifest in our reality.
SaiF,
Just out of curiousity, what sets apart your Law of Attraction program from others? Many people are talking about it these days, and most of what I’ve read elsewhere is similar to what you write in this post.
Hey Michelle!
I love that! 90% is not commitment! 100% IS! DEFINITELY! =)
Hey Chris,
I’m going to be frank with you here and tell you that I have no idea what other programs are doing but like you said, it’s very similar – how can you it be different? It’s the same law.
But what I can tell you what sets my program apart is YOU. No typo there. Because from what I’ve seen so far, I can give someone more attention and dedication but if he or she fails to go within on his or her own, there’s no results.
If you’re interested, I actually give coaching free of charge if you get a copy of my E-book (which is also free by the way) because I want to help more people see results =)
Hope that helps!

The law may be the same, but each person has different ways of phrasing it, different understanding of it and perspective from it, or different teaching methods and/or costs associated.
So then what sets your program apart is that it’s free AND the coaching is free?
Haha! It’s MORE THAN THAT of course! =)
I believe what sets my program is that it’s based on taking MASSIVE (inspired) ACTION rather than the usual airy fairy stuff =)
Because it seems that many people who believe in the Law of Attraction rely on this one law alone. They think that if they visualize and forget about it, they will attract many unexpected things.
Although that does happen sometimes, most of the times the unexpected attractions come after taking INSPIRED ACTION =)

This is all so true. People don’t realize that it is all about the choices they make and more importantly about giving to others and giving to a bigger cause then just their immediate wants or even needs sometimes. Life is definitely not fair, but there are endless distractions that keep us from achieving our goals and keep us locked in the brainwashed boxes that tell us we “can’t”. I am glad you are existing to share with others. This is important.
Cheers.

Hey DC!
Yes, giving to others and a BIGGER CAUSE is exactly what makes you prosper I believe =)
For example, when I started blogging, I was focused on getting more readers to my blog – 23 readers in 2 mths. That didn’t work obviously.
I just shifted my focus to enriching people’s lives by giving the best content and now I have just over 300 subscribers – in 2 mths too!
That’s just astonishing proof I think!
Thank you very much DC =) This IS important!

While I’m not going to unsubscribe to this blog, I usually ignore most Law of Attraction stuff (as well as any insensitivity to people with ADHD. That would defeat the purpose of trying to have a thicker skin, eh?)
No matter how much I read on how good it works, The Law of Attraction is just not something I can get behind.
Hey L.Vazquez,
It’s becoming increasingly clear to me that many of Alex’s readers have a strong objection to the Law of Attraction. I think it’s only natural that practical people feel rather thrown off by some “airy-fairy” concept that doesn’t seem practical at all.
But like I said before, understanding of the Law of Attraction sets your intentions on the right direction by getting as clear a vision on what you want, after which taking MASSIVE inspired action.
But then again, I guess the power of the Law of Attraction can only come to those who open their minds to the possibility of attracting people, things and events into their lives just by “vibrating” the same frequency.
It will only come to those who BELIEVE.
L. Vasquez,
Quick question – you say it’s something you can’t get behind. Have you tried it, or are you averse to trying free things that have potential upside and the only downside is spending time and attention?
Reason I ask is, although many people focus on the more spiritual / new age elements of ‘The Law of Attraction,’ there are some more grounding elements. Some people are starting to pick up on this with RAS (i.e. if you’re pregnant you tend to notice pregnant people more often).
In this context, if a person is for example, in an entrepreneurial mindset then he/she will notice more entreprenurial possibilities. Law of Attraction? In a sense. We begin attracting to our awareness the things we need to survive.
If you’re hungry, you’ll notice restaurants more quickly and easily than say, gas stations.
But how do you get the food? Action.
Now, some will disagree with me and say “That’s not the law of attraction,” and that’s fine. That alone is not, but it is a practical aspect of it.
To get a little more theoretical — astronomy and physics teaches us that the more mass a planet has, the more gravity it has. But do we really understand why that’s the case? Scientists have theories about it, but nobody today can definitively say “Gravity works this way because…” and have proof to back it up.
Does that mean gravity doesn’t exist? Well, it can be felt and observed, so we say it ‘exists.’
Similarly with the Law of Attraction. A lot of people talk about how they think it works, including SaiF, but nobody can ‘prove’ why and how it works. Everybody pieces together the bits that they understand and seem to work for them (and often works for others).
But without proof, can we say it exists? It too can be felt and observed, even if you don’t believe in it.It’s happening in your life whether you realize it or not.
Don’t believe me? All you have to do is keep a diary that tracks two things:
1) Your experiences
2) Your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs
What you will notice is that #1 and #2 are related very closely. Now, if you want to have more enjoyable experiences, the first thing to do is have more enjoyable thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that align with your desired direction. Easier said than done, I know.
Instead of thinking of ‘The Law of Attraction’ as some grand idea that people say solves all your problems, consider removing the label and just observing your inner and outer experiences to see how closely they are related.
There’s a lot of talk about positive thinking. To oversimplify, the Law of Attraction is basically the same as positive thinking + action. Most practical people see the value in positive thinking, but that is really no more ‘airy faery’ than The Law of Attraction.
Different words, same basic thing with a new age twist and better marketing.
I think that Will Smith really did a pretty good job in describing The Law of Attraction, without ever actually calling it “The Law of Attraction”. I think that he definately knows the terminology of, “The Law of Attraction”, but that he didn’t want the skeptics to brush off what he had to say as some sort of new-age nonsense.
Hey Chris!
I couldn’t have put that better than myself =)
As I explored deeper and deeper into the Law of Attraction, I realized it’s related to anything and everything else in Personal Development because for me, stating the intention is probably the best thing you can do to help you achieve your goals.
It directs your Reticular Activating System to spot what you might have missed hadn’t you given it anything to focus on and as a result you “attract” more opportunities to manifest your intention =)
For me, INTENTION + BELIEF + INTENTION + EXPECTATION – ATTACHMENT = SUCCESS
I’ve read tons of book on success and I believe these are the common denominators in all success stories!

Hey G. Davis!
YES! Exactly! I don’t think “The Secret” was released when that was recorded so I believe every successful people have already known about this but just can’t find the terminology to describe it.
And yes, I do get the “Are You On Crack” look when I tell people that I attract people, events and things into my life. And then I’ll sit down with them and tell them the “Science” behind it and most of them actually get my book, try it out and see “coincidences” as they call it.
But of course, it’s not really coincidences is it?

SaiF,
Your comment about coincidences reminds me of a funny story. I had told my father about some of my ‘concidental’ experiences (I refer to them as synchronicities ever since I watched The Celestine Prophecy), and he always believed me but really couldn’t relate since he had never really noticed them in his life before.
Well, one day he tells me that while he was driving he was thinking about somebody he hadn’t heard from in months, and he was wondering why she hadn’t contacted him and he thought there were certain things she needed to say to him.
He gets back to the office, and within a few minutes is an email from that person saying ALL of the things he thought she should say to him.. in some cases word for word.
Needless to say, my father was amazed and instantly became a “believer.” Sometimes all it takes is one undeniable experience to wake us up to a whole new world!
Hey Chris!
That’s a very nice story! =) I’ve heard of this Celestine Prophecy for some time but I’ve never seen it before. I think I shall go and watch it soon.
Yea, that happens all the time! It does affirm that we do transmit some form of frequency or energy through our thoughts.
You’re right! That’s exactly what happened to me when I started believing in all this “new age nonsense” lol

Saif,
Thank you for your reply. I thought it’d be harsh to unsubscribe just because I disagreed with something.
To me, the Law of Attraction (and The Secret) seems like a big, massive self-affirmation machine. I read up on it (including a massive debate in the Tony Robbins boards) and I watched the free preview that was offered on The Secret’s website last year.
The whole thing seems like a large amount of fluffy positive affirmations, with the repetitive, constant message that I am great, and that I should believe in myself, and that I can make things happen.
I guess I couldn’t get passed that notion. Your YouTube video thing reminded me of that. The one thing I remember thinking when I saw that free preview last year was, if you stripped away all the affirming, and (for lack of better term) airy-fairy-ness of it… you can find the same useful information in things like assertiveness workbooks & time-management books (taking action, getting your priorities/morals in order, and such.)
If you’ve ever watched or listened to Randy Pausch’s lectures, that’s a prime example.
Please understand that this is just a preference I’m stating. I checked out the Secret and the Law of Attraction, and the whole thing is not for me. I would never encourage anyone else NOT to do it. If a friend told me they were going to do it and follow it, I wouldn’t stop them.

Chris C.
Sounds like we’re kind of on the same page, but you’re pro-law of attraction, while I’m not.
To answer your question, I have not ‘tried’ the Law of Attraction or The Secret. At the same time, I’m not averse to things that will help me better understand myself.
I understand your gravity comparison, but I guess my problem is… gravity is taught in schools, and discussed in science books and in lectures. I’ve never seen or heard of a college or primary school lecture on the Law of Attraction. If there are credible, bonified lectures and lessons on the Law of Attraction (and not something that’s reworded to mean the same thing, I mean what we’re discussing) then please, let me know.
I’m willing to share with you that, recently, through therapy, I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and bipolar disorder… both on a moderate level, but its the answer to a life time of being unsure, unsettled and automatic negativity. However, I can’t see myself following something based on the Law of Attraction to help me.
Is there a fine line between coincidence, chance, luck and taking action and being positive? If I was in fear of losing my job for three years… then I lose my job, can I say “I saw this coming” or, can it be attributed to the slumping economy? At the same time, if I were a stellar employee, always on the ball, setting a positive example of leadership… then suddenly lose my job… is it my bad luck? or the slumping economy?
You are right, though… aside from this discussion, and any other blog post I may read, I’m not willing to commit time to this.
Hello again
Those are really valid points that I think a lot of “Law of Attraction” afficionados seem to ignore. I do believe that in coming years we will see more teachings on the Law of Attraction. However, whether or not it is taught in schools doesn’t make it any less valid.
The world was flat. That was taught in schools. Many things have been taught in schools *with* what was believed to be scientific evidence of the time, only to later turn out to be incorrect or… incomplete.
I don’t think I’d classify myself as “pro” Law of Attraction, nor against it. I’d put myself more in the category of “Open to interesting possibilities even if I can’t explain them. And if I can explain them or understand them, then that helps me feel a little more secure in the world.”
Is there a line between coincidence, chance, luck, and positivity + action? That starts getting into the realm of things we can’t “prove” but can observe. There have been some interesting scientific studies that showed the outcome of the exact same experiment was different when a single variable was changed: The person conducting the experiment.
One book that really opened my eyes to the scientific information that supports things we can’t explain is called “The Holographic Universe.” The first 1/4 to 1/2 of the book is sort of boring and lays out the foundation for the theory, but the 2nd half of the book is phenomenal.
For example, the studies of people with Multiple Personality Disorder. One personality could get drunk, then switch personalities and the other personality would be completely sober. Then if the person switched to the original personality, they would be drunk again. The same thing was observed with allergies, such as a bee sting.
That tells me something interesting: We may not be able to explain or prove that, or even teach it, but we can observe it.
Is it coincidence when somebody has a dream about something that later actually happens? Is it luck? Chance? Do you deny its possibility because you haven’t personally experienced it? And if so, then does that mean that nobody has ever been to space? (I’m assuming you aren’t an astronaut here)
In the case of work, it’s interesting to also consider another possibility. Suppose for 3 years you have a fear of losing your job, and then 3 years later you are let go. Was it the slumping economy? Was it some pie-in-the-sky theory like “The Law of Attraction”? Was it that you were dissatisfied with the job to begin with and your subconsious reflected that as a fear of losing your job… ultimately leading you to do the job less-well and less-well until eventually your employer could see the dissatisfaction and decided to let you go?
Could it be all of the above at once?
There’s a TON of questions we can ask about the Law of Attraction… about our existence and experience here on Earth.
I don’t presume to have the answers, and I don’t presume that the “Law of Attraction” is an answer. I don’t even presume to understand it or be able to explain it.
All I know is that I’ve observed things in my life I can’t rationally explain (and I was raised by a VERY logical father). I know that some of the things in my life seem to happen based on my thoughts or feelings about something. And I know that some of the things in my life seem to be completely random with no explanation.
“Why do bad things happen to good people?” Was it some “higher purpose” that was meant to be, or was it as random as anything else?
Soooo many questions. Here’s what I would honestly advise:
- When it comes to understanding your life and your experience on Earth, don’t take my word for anything. Don’t take SaiF’s word for anything. Don’t take ANYBODY’s word for anything… not even what they “teach” in school.
Just observe your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Ask yourself questions and see if your experience brings you the answers… maybe immediately, maybe years after asking the question.
You seem to really be a logical person, like I am and my father is… so go read “The Holographic Universe,” if for nothing else, to provide you with research and references of observed experiences that can’t really be explained by anything that modern science can prove.
Rather than assuming the world is a certain way, just allow yourself to ask “What if?” “What if I don’t know everything? What if scientists don’t know everything? What if these Law of Attraction fans don’t know everything? What if the combined knowledge of everybody in the world still does not know everything there is to know about our existence?”
What if…?
I’m still not sure I believe in all this “new age nonsense!”
All I know is that what I used to believe isn’t a completely accurate representation of what I experience… and that leaves me with questions that nobody can answer except myself, although other people can sometimes give me pointers so I that I move in a helpful direction.
There is more to The law of attraction than the Secret. The Secret is great in that it opened the way for more people to become awakened, but there are much better teachers out there who chose not to be in the secret.
I believe one of the most important aspects is to know who you are and what you truly want. Also we need to celebrate what we already have.
Thank you Alex Shalman for posting this. Honestly this Law of Attraction has nearly changed my life. With some supplement from SaiF I’ve been able to learn a lot about this amazing law. Thanks again, this has changed my life as a 16-year old
Focus and action =]
When people tell me they’re impressed that I’m doing this stuff at 23 I think about guys like you and Saif, the next generation, that are all over personal development way before I even knew what it was!
Chris C.
I’d like to thank you again for your insight, and I appreciate you respecting my opinions as well.
I think your right… allowing to ask ‘what if?’ opens up a lot of possibilities. That’s something I can work with, because it’s simple.
I’ll check out the book you recommended (maybe skim that boring section you mentioned.) At the end of it all, our thoughts, feelings and experiences are all we’ve got. I’ve got 30 years worth of material so far.
Thank you again, perhaps I’ll see you around the comments again.
