Hey Alex,

Well done with the progress so far! I'm similar to you in many ways - only a few cm higher and a few kgs lighter, with almost the same goal for the ideal weight :)

It will take longer than few weeks, but I know I'm going in the right direction so it's only a matter of time and self-discipline.

Good luck!

You are inspiring!

I need to do the same.

You have spurred me on to do something about myself being overweight!

Congrats Alex,

You are doing so well, raise your right hand in the air and give yourself a big pat on the back. I lost 4lbs this week so I feel great too , after staying at one weight for weeks.
Now if I lose 2lbs a week I will be ecstatic
I understand the frustration of going from 13lb loss to only 1.5lbs, remember the 1-2lb weight loss each week will stay off

Keep going

Suzie

Hi Alex,

I find this really interesting! The only thing I would say is to not push yourself too hard. You want to get on a sustainable plan that you can do long-term, not something where you'll fall off the wagon later.

I started exercising 3x a week about a year ago. Although my weight has stayed the same, I now have more muscle and less fat. Most importantly, though, I feel a lot better. I have more energy and don't get tired as easily. This is sustainable for me, and although I hover on the border of "overweight" (5'5" - 150lbs), I feel fine.

Congrats Alex! 13 lbs total is great, and 1.5 for the second week is like you said - an honest fat loss, no water weight

Good work and a nice detailed update. Hope your back gets better soon.
