You guys are all awesome for supporting my strange habits (well no, this is definitely not something I have a habit of doing, but you know what I mean).

Better look silly than be sorry :)

I haven't slept in my car, but I slept in a friends car for New Year while we were camping in the forest and I was tripping out a bit. It is a nasty feeling to wake up in a car, but it's definitely better than driving home drunk.

Respect!

Excellent post! Most folks who drink would never even think of this (especially while drunk). I'm confident this post is gonna save a few DUIs, and maybe a few lives. ;]

"BTW, as far as I know, you aren’t allowed to stick your keys into the ignition of your car if you’re intoxicated, because then you are technically “operating” your vehicle (instant DUI)."

- Nice reminder.

I have never slept in my car (I don't have one). However, I am used to sleeping on a floor, or ground, or rock, whatever. It just a matter of being drunk and/or tired enough.
From this three above, floor is the best. Ground and rocks are not very comfortable in winter.
