@Brandon, Much like the bible has stories of success and failure, you might be able to get a few really good pointers on what NOT to do from a homeless person. A valuable lesson just the same =)

I agree with Roger on #2. I’m resisting the urge to say #2 is the sh*t. ;] You never know from which source great wisdom will flow. The homeless are full of life lessons and great stories … if we’d just get over our egos long enough to sit and listen.

I used to love doing that! (When I could still, uh, walk. Or leave the house – seriously disabled now…) But this is the first time I hear someone else describe it. I went through various reading/learning phases that I never would have done otherwise…

My favorites are 6. Follow your passion and 7. Be true to yourself. I guess in a way, 6 is kind of a subset of 7, since you have to follow your passion if you want to be true to yourself. There’s nothing like living out our passions

My favorite point is “2. Learn from everyone.” I sometimes find lessons at the oddest times from unusual people. It can happen in a flash.
