This is such a great article Alex. I’m always a fan of the “go big or go home” mentality. I just wrote an article, similar to some points made by Damoon, about how too much information and communication inhibits innovation. Keep up the good work!!

Going hard is the only way to go. Just like that Jay-z song Go Hard. Work hard then play harder. But its also about having balance too. We have to set limitations but make our goals challenging enough to make us stretch.

Nice one! It’s a great saying… hard to do but works well if actually done. I try to have tunnel vision with what I’m interested in and learn about it a lot. The best experts on some topic usually are almost obsessed with it and spend tons of time learning and doing things (Going Hard so to say).

I also love saying “Go Big or Go Home”

I wish life, problems and everything we encountered was effortless and easy like Faramarz mentioned. I think to have that ability means you’re top of the pops. However, my notion of “go hard or go home” is more about passion than building stress. I think if you enjoy anything in life you will “go hard” or that extra mile because it’s something you’re passionate about. Whether it’s school, work, exercise, etc. But than again what do I know…I’m just trying to make it to the next day. Not a guru like my boy Alex, just a Jenny from the block. Thx Alex for the cameo…lol!

@Faramarz – I also look at certain events as challenges, instead of problems. I wouldn’t call things absolutely effortless though. It’s the amount of time and effort that we dedicate to the accomplishment of some thing that gives it value in our mind.

Good tips – although i think that if you start something and and have the mindset of “i need to go hard” it might actually cause you a lot of stress you don’t need. I always look upon my problems even my worst ones as being EFFORTLESS AND EASY, great article though
