Networking with Passion

Networking with Passion

Your passion should be a compelling and overwhelming desire that drives you to share, open up, and be the kind of person that lives it. When you find this passion, you will feel ready to literally give your life for it. If you spend your whole life pursuing it, doing it, and being it, you are giving this passion the time that comprises your life.

It’s been years since I’ve written on the site, although the archive of articles from the blog have been serving tens of thousands of monthly readers. It makes me happy knowing that the hundreds of hours of energy I put into content creation is still serving the greater good and providing value to people, even though all I’ve been doing is keeping the lights on in this place.

No, I didn’t stop reading, learning, and growing, and I didn’t even stop sharing, but I did put 100% of my time, energy, and passion into becoming the best at something else. My passion to become the greatest cosmetic dentist has led me to meet a whole new network of inspirational and motivated people, and it’s been a fun ride since I initially started dental school in 2009.

I had an overwhelming urge to write and share today, because I recently met a very good looking young girl who didn’t smile. It made me curious. We chatted a bit, I told her what I do, and she revealed to me that she doesn’t smile because her teeth are crooked, funny looking, too small, and it makes her self conscious.

My response was, I hate that you feel that way about your smile, and it makes me sad, because you’re a gorgeous girl, and I would love nothing better in life than to see you smile and laugh and be more confident. When that happens you’ll stand taller, be more powerful and assertive, and just be that much happier because you’ll always be laughing. That’s what I’m giving my time and my life towards and what’s important to me. We’re gonna get you there, I promise.”

I didn’t come up to her, analyze her smile, discuss the change in tooth proportions we can accomplish, how I’m going to move her teeth or bond veneers, or anything technical like that. I let her know from my heart the vision that I have for her and for all the people in my life, who I want to see happy, healthy, and powerful, so they can go through life following their passion and spreading their own personal brand of joy.

Whenever people share their true passion with me, I can feel it, it chills me to the bone, and I can’t help but get excited. As much as health, beauty, and personal development are three important pillars of my personal brand, I believe that networking is what connects it all for me. When I hear this passion in others, I automatically want to be of service, help them on their way, and introduce them to the people on a similar path so they can cross paths and become more powerful in the presence of one another.

I would love to hear what drives you, what is your personal passion that gets you up in the morning and fills your heart with joy. Share in the comments below or on facebook!

Thank you so much for posting this inspiring article about passion and sharing.

I believe that the environment in which we live can open us up to more creativity, focus and happiness. This is why I’m passionate about working with my clients to bring forth their vision for beautiful homes that will let them be in love with where they live, and impactful events that will touch them and they remember for a lifetime.

And the reality is that you have created a beautiful home for us, where we are able to thrive. The other projects you have done have all become almost like remarkable trophy’s that people are proud to share with everyone that visits their home. It’s important to take pride in where you live, and it doesn’t matter if it’s a small studio or a large house, there’s always room to pay attention to details!

Great article. I think people look for value. If people know you are passionate about something (and you honestly, genuinely are), your output in that area will likely be higher than it would have been otherwise. If people will benefit from the value you bring, them knowing you passion is likely to increase their perception (and I would expect the reality) of the value you will bring in the subject area.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment Dmitry!

well you see i have grown up in a how can you say dark side of the world where all i have ever seen in my lifetime is pain and negative energy i have lived my whole life a mere shell of what i realy could be i have forgotten what it is like to have joy in my heart it has come to the point where i wonder if my soul still exists where has the young man gone that i once knew he had a passion for people for love for everlasting joy i believe my passion was to always be there to support those who are broken but through it all i lost my will to help others as all i ever recieved in return was rejection i don’t know if i am wrong what is it that you see that i don’t to live without purpose is no life at all i am looking for answers but always seem to hit dead ends you see for what is a man if he does not have love he is like a leaf in autumn that shrivels up and is eventualy blown away by the winter wind of all the things i have ever wanted the thing i needed most was to be told that i am good enough that i can make a difference that no matter what i have at least one person in my life that truly loves me and cares for me knowing that person will stick with me through thick and thin but alas my selfish nature or negative behaviour my inability to see the silver lining has caused me to become bitter and sinical if you understand the true nature of having passion it would be of utmost importance to me that you do share it with me

Excellent Alex! You and I get along well because of the values we place in certain ideals. Some think that passion is reserved for the social construct only. They are missing out on the exhilaration, fear and fulfilment that comes from funneling your passion into professional pursuits.

We should all resolve to share and connect more. The community in which we all exist deserves more of our collective participation.

What drives me is my insatiable passion for innovating, creating and building. For those who know me its usually in business and/or the tech space. I find it invigorating to be presented with a challenge that requires thoughtful strategy to be solved. Striving to be part of and hopefully help craft the world of tomorrow is a yearning that I choose never to live without.

    Here’s to you Alex!

I see many things that are accurate & true but some of us want to die for good reason & i say it here cause where i should say it i can not . So here i am . Myself i have a desire for death for a simple reason which is severe chronic pain that is only getting worse as they take our medications from us that need them . I have spinal damage , slipped discs , herniated discs , torn rotator cuff , at least 3 damaged nerves & that is the most severe of my pain . Meanwhile they remove our medications & i hear express scripts a medicare affiliate say that they would like for the pain to be handled naturally . Really & how can anyone with this kind of damage do that exactly this i desire badly cause it is not fesible & simply put it is impossible . So what can a person do since the medacine that they allow is not working enough . Which may be high for many but not me & many others , which is Oxycodone 30 mg at 90 per month & Fentanyl 75 mcg at 10 per month . But it is not enough but is helping to a degree but the pain is life controlling & it will make anyone do anything to get rid of it to make it managable & tolerable . So now what can one do besides death ? Handling it naturally would be death no question at all about that . So now options are so few & very minute if any are there . This is simply irrational & illogical in every way possible . The only way to handle my kind of pain naturally is in your dreams but then you wake up & it is back to reality with pure misery & pain every second of my life . So i am only one but this is one good reason why some want to die . Its only logic that would say such things to anyone . Anyway i can not do another pain pump at this time as i am told that there are problems with getting the neccesary medication covered . So that is what they are doing to us people now in our free country of America . How damaging can you be & or get ? REALLY ? Give me a break here , what do you people wantfor all of us to just go away ? Well your working on it thats for sure . Anyway just a piece to think on . Have a good one & sorry this is where it is but i had no choice elsewhere . Have a good life unlike many are now considering what is really going on with us in severe pain .
