This site is all about you, the reader, the person, the individual. It’s a culmination of life experience, training, and obtained knowledge, all geared toward your understanding and practical application.
This site focuses on many pillars of personal development. If you were to leave this site right now and never came back, I would only hope that you left with least one great take home lesson. That lesson is…
Life is yours to dream up, design, create, and to do with as you please. Your only limits are internal- those that you put on yourself. Fulfillment, for me at least, is doing for others. So let this be my little bit of insight: you are who you say you are, that is, you are a possibility. Now- create!
This site covers personal development, goal setting, health and fitness, money and finances, communication and relationships, leadership, blogging, productivity and time management, traveling and happiness.
I’m Alex Shalman, a 23 year old student, son, boyfriend, classmate, writer and friend that lives in New Jersey, USA. Some of my interests include reading everything I can get my hands on, from personal development books, to books about fitness, nutrition, productivity, psychology, and relationships.
My other interests include exercise, fine dining, traveling, cooking, nutrition, editing my life, teaching, pondering ways to improve the world for myself and everyone around me with my close friends, and mastermind group. I’m a student of martial arts, of life, and of love.
I’ve been reading books, listening to audio tapes, going to seminars, and visiting with a life coach in the field of self-improvement for a combination of over 5 years now. As you can tell, I am very passionate about the subject of human potential and personal growth. One of my goals with writing on this website is to transfer my knowledge to you, in a condensed, easy to understand, and practical to implement format so that you could use everything that I’ve learned to your own benefit.
As far as my education is concerned I completed grades 2-8 in Brooklyn, NY and 9-12 in East Brunswick, NJ. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in 2006, and a Masters in Biomedical Science from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2008.
The next steps of my life will lead me to entrepreneurship in dentistry and the field of self-improvement. I want to continue my family legacy by becoming a 5th generation dentist and taking dentistry to another level. I want to go beyond the 9-5 by creating a franchise, mentoring, conducting dental education programs, teaching, being involved in real-estate as well as writing and public speaking. My goal is to be able to live a geographically independent existence with a wife and 4 children.

I am committed to constant and never ending improvement, which means that each and every day of my life will play a role in my journey instead of wasting away idling. Most importantly I have a commitment to you, my readers, to give you my 100%, and to use what influence I have for the greater good of all.
